About
Rachel Whalen is a writer and translator. She was a 2018 Rhodes Scholar finalist, a finalist for the Heermans-McCalmon Playwriting Award, and earned an Honorable Mention for the M.H. Abrams Undergraduate Thesis Prize from Cornell University. She obtained her MFA from NYU in 2021 and her BA from Cornell in 2019, where she majored in English and graduated summa cum laude. She speaks English, Spanish, Italian, and a little bit of Russian. Rachel lives in Mexico City.
